There’s nothing too big for this massive crane! The SGC-250 can lift no less than 5,000 tons! It can work from three different lifting locations, and travel by rail to reach the different locations. This, together with its lifting capacity, makes it one of the most unique cranes in the heavy lifting industry.
Half of the components of this crane traveled by ship, and the other half by road transport.
SCS was asked to take care of the transport of these components, including all customs formalities. Some 400 truck loads transported the SGC-250 modules to the site, where the crew worked to assemble the massive crane.
