At SCS Logistics, we recently completed the transport of a lithium battery container from Amsterdam (The Netherlands) to Munich (Germany). Due to the high energy density and potential risks associated with lithium batteries, this type of cargo requires specialized handling, equipment, and documentation.

From the moment the container was collected in Amsterdam, our operations team coordinated every step and communication with both shipper and receiver. The container was transported entirely by road, using an ADR-certified vehicle and driver experienced in handling dangerous goods.
Throughout the journey, all regulations regarding UN3480 (Lithium-ion batteries) were strictly followed, ensuring maximum safety and compliance with European transport standards. Our focus on precision logistics and clear communication allowed for a seamless and timely delivery to the customer in Munich.
