At SCS Logistics, we recently managed the transport of a lithium battery container to an industrial site in Germany. The shipment originated in the Netherlands and was delivered safely and efficiently by road transport, following all ADR safety requirements for lithium batteries.

This specific project involved the delivery of a high-capacity battery container, used for energy storage applications. Due to the cargo’s classification as hazardous goods (UN 3536), the transport required detailed coordination and certified equipment. Our team coordinated the road transport in close cooperation with the shipper and receiver, ensuring that all safety and ADR requirements were met throughout the journey.
Upon arrival, the container was positioned near the on-site transformer installation, where it will contribute to local power supply and energy storage operations. Despite challenging weather conditions and limited site access, our experienced drivers and logistics planners ensured a smooth, safe, and punctual delivery.
